Opening Times

Summer - 1st April to 31st August
We are open to the public from 10am to 4pm, 5 days a week; Wednesday to Sunday. We are also open on Bank Holiday Mondays.

Winter Opening
We are open to the public from 1st September to 31st March, 10am to 4pm, 5 days a week; Wednesday to Sunday plus Bank Holiday Mondays. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during this time.

Also on-site

Russells Garden Centre, The Potting Shed Cafe, Avondale Nursery, Noble Kichens and Bridge View Light Railway are also located on-site. Please note that opening times for the above may vary to ours.

While you are here, why not take a gentle walk around the Quarry Garden and Maze or wander around the wild flower meadow next to the River Sowe. Please note that the Quarry Garden remains closed until further notice.

Shop online

We have a wide range of products available to purchase online from choice and rare garden plants to bonsai trees, bonsai pots, Niwaki and much more.

Postage and packing is free on all orders over £75.00 (UK mainland only), £10.95 for orders under £75.00 unless otherwise stated. Larger, fragile or valuable items may be charged a fixed postage and packing rate of £25.00. This includes all large bonsai pots. Bulky / heavy items may attract additional delivery fees or may be ordered online for collection only.

We attend a wide variety of prestigious shows and events including various RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) shows, BBC Garderner's World Live, plant fairs and Bonsai shows.
