Gold Medal Winners at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022
We are very pleased to announce that David Cheshire Nurseries has been awarded an RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal Floral Award for our display of Japanese garden plants, Niwaki, bonsai and choice plants in the Great Pavilion. A huge thanks to all the team that have been involved and to all our family, friends and customers for their fantastic support.
Final preparations for RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Final preparations are now underway before David Cheshire Nurseries head south to London next week to begin setting up for exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show which opens to the public from 24th to 28th May 2022. Get your tickets here.
Five Flower Plant Village Award at RHS Malvern Spring Show 2022
On the 5th May David Cheshire Nurseries won the 'Five Flower Plant Village Award' scoring a fantastic 11 out of 12 points for our display of Japanese Maples (Acers) and Bonsai Trees at the RHS Malvern Spring Show.

Winter Opening
1st September to 31st March, 10am to 4pm, 5 days a week; Wednesday to Sunday (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
Summer Opening
1st April to 31st August, 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week.

David is a FOBBS Accredited Bonsai Judge and he has studied in Japan with some of their top Bonsai professionals. He is a qualified horticulturalist and plantsman with over 30 years experience.
Choice and Rare Plants: Our Nursery stocks an extensive range of choice and rare plants.
Bonsai trees and supplies: We stock a huge range of mature outdoor bonsai trees, bonsai starter trees, bonsai pots and sundries
Niwaki: Official supplier and importer of Niwaki Art Japan™ and imported Japanese stones and rocks.
Workshops: We offer a range of workshops incuding Beginners Bonsai and Advanced Bonsai Workshops, Rock Planting Workshops and Grafting Workshops.
Shows:We attend various RHS Shows and events throughout the year.
Talks: David gives talks and demonstrations to Bonsai and horticultural societies throughout the UK by arrangment. Please contact us if you would like David to give a talk.
Niwaki wins Plant of the Year 2021!
In August 2021, David Cheshire Nurseries' Japanese Yew (Taxus cuspidata) Niwaki won the prestigeous Plant of the Year Award at BBC Gardeners' World Live Special Edition as part of the Best Exhibit (Geoff Hamilton Award) in the Floral Marquee with Larchfield Trees.
