Heimia is a genus of flowering plants in the loosestrife family, Lythraceae. It contains three species; H. myrtifolia, H. salicifolia (Sinicuichi), and H. montana. They are native to the Americas, from northern Argentina to the southernmost United States.

Willow-leaf heimia
An attractive bushy shrub growing up to 4 meters tall and 2.5 meters wide. Narrow, willow-like leaves to 5cm long, and solitary yellow flowers 2.5cm wide in the leaf axils in summer and early autumn.
